Police trying to identify person that launched mine false call
The police are organizing operations to identify the person that transmitted the message about the mining of the three institutions – the municipal city hall, the Chisinau International Airoport and the Press House, which proved to be a false call.
“In line with the research, we found the information was false and no mine was found in either of the three buildings”, Ala Meleca, the head of the press centre of the Internal Ministry has said to BASA-press.
The employees of the Airport are activating in a normal regime and the passengers’ registration for the flights resumes, according to the quoted source.
Contacted by BASA-press, Mariana Vasilache, the head of the press service of the city hall, has said that, though it was settled that no explosives were revealed in the building, because of the security reasons and, as the law stipulates, the employees will not be able to come back to their workplaces until tomorrow.
Also, the employees of more publications headquartered in the Press House will resume their activities on Tuesday. “The access to the Press House will be forbidden during 24 hours, from security reasons”, according to Constantin Avornic, the commander of the Patrol and Sentinnel Regiment “Scut” (“Coat of Arms”).
