Only one third of houses for flood victims of Hincesti built
Up to date, only one third of houses for flood victims in the Hincesti raion [Moldovan region] have been built, the Minister of Construction and Regional Development, Marcel Raducanu, stated at a working meeting held in the Cotul Morii Village under the aegis of Prime Minister Vladimir Filat.
According to the Government press service, 241 houses of 706 projected houses were finished completely, and authorities carry out interior finishing works now in 376 houses; also they have built walls and installed roofs of 26 houses and built only walls of 59 houses.
Raducan said the work procrastination was caused by unfavorable weather conditions. He said that authorities have no financial problems, adding the building of all houses in villages of Cotul Morii, Nemteni and Obileni will be finished till the end of April. Now, 282 workers are employed within the house construction works in the village of Cotul Morii. Ten families already live in their new houses permanently.
Filat said the 2011 Budget will provide means for building roads in Cotul Morii. He said works on projecting edifices of the Primaria [local government], kindergarten, school and commercial center of the village will soon start. The Premier said the Government will be next to flood-hit victims in the future and will help them mitigating flood consequences.
The Prime Minister has visited the construction site of the village of Nemteni, where all 76 houses were finished. The houses are connected to the gas pipeline, the sewerage system was installed. The water supply system construction project in the village was finished too.
A statement was provided yesterday, according to which, on Monday, a special commission will reconsider the way of distributing houses among flood-hit victims of the Hincesti raion. Recently, the court obliged local authorities of the village of Cotul Morii to redistribute houses among flood-hit victims, because some serious legislative violations were committed within the 1st distribution.
Infotag's dossier: In the beginning, the term of house commissioning for flood victims was scheduled on December 5, 2010, but it was postponed on December 25 later on. Now, authorities promise to finish the building of all houses by Easter holidays.
