One of the most longeval women from Moldova celebrates her 110th anniversary
Old Elena Bordeian from the district of Soroca, one of the most longeval women from the Republic of Moldova, celebrates her 110th anniversary on Sunday, April 13th, DECA-press Agency transmits.
Her close relatives, the mayor of the village and guests from the district will come on the old woman's birthday to congratulate Elena on this occasion. The authorities will give her five thousand lei, the sum meant for persons who exceeded the age of one hundred years old.
Elena Bordeian raised and educated two daughters and a son, but all of them are already dead.her last child, Claudia, died a few months ago.
The woman says she had a difficult life. Communists deported her family and her to Siberia. The Soviet adepts considered the members of her family as „enemies of the nation”, because they had their own oil mill. She spent her childhood in Trifauti, today district of Soroca. After that, she married and lived for some time in the village of Tepilova. Now, for already 50 years, she has been living in the village of Cosauti. // DECA-Press
