Olympic athletes were awarded at the Government
Moldovan Olympic athletes who had good results in London were awarded today by the Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The event was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Ion Cebanu, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovanu and the President of the National Olympic Committee Nicolae Juravski.
As previously promised, the weightlifters Cristina Iovu and Anatol Ciricu, who won bronze medals, received apartments. The winners, as well as their coaches received 80 000 Euro each.
Overall, for awarding the athletes, coaches, doctors and masseurs, 560 500 Euro were allocated.
