New Year actions started in capital city
The Chisinau municipality planned a wide program of artistic-cultural actions, devoted to the New Year holidays. The main financial department must submit its proposals to the Municipal Council on allocating extra 13.8 thousand lei for decorating the chief Christmas tree of our republic and 150 thousand lei for organizing the Christmas Eve celebration (О seară de Crăciun).
The program of the New Year actions was opened on Monday by the XVI Festival of Winter Customs (Să trăiţi, să-nfloriţi), where children’s collectives participate. It will last until Thursday and the gala concert on December 23 in the Ginta Latină Center.
The gala of the premiums of the Satiricus Theater is slated for December 19. The XII Festival of Winter Traditions (Florile dalbe), where artistic collectives and ensembles of young and adult performers will participate, will be held in the Center of Young Naturalists in the Botanica sector on December 20 and 21 and the gala concert of the winners will take place in the National Philharmonic Society on December 22.
The opening of the New Year celebrations on the central square is slated for December 24, they will begin at 16.30 with a concert of folk and light music, where young ethno-folkloric ensembles of the municipality will participate.
On December 25 the gala of the FM radio stations – an entertainment program with the participation of light and folk music interpreters – will take place.
From December 26 to January 7 each day at 13.00 entertainment programs for children with the participation of the Father Frost and Snow Maiden and consisting of various games, kolyadas (Christmas carol singing), contests will be arranged on the central square. The actors of the “Guguţă” municipal puppet theater will participate in them.
This is the program, organized by the Chisinau Municipal Council. Actions, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will be conducted parallel to the municipal actions. // Infotag
