Natural gas supply resumed in Transdniestria
All the settlements in the Transdniestrian region are now supplied with gas. Petr Ganov, the deputy director of Tiraspoltransgaz-Pridnestrovie Company, told the reporters on Tuesday that all the villages and towns in the region are provided with the necessary volume of gas.
Before the gas supply via Ukraine was resumed, the boiler houses in Transdniestria worked at half capacity. According to Ganov, the supply was resumed with no infringements or incidents.
The gas supplies to Transdniestria were cut off on January 6. When Ukraine restored supplies to Odessa region on January 14, Transdniestria started to receive gas, but in minimum quantities.
