Moldovan „Martisor” will be celebrated in Israel
The Moldovan Embassy to Israel, with the support of the Association of Jews originating from the Republic of Moldova and of the city alls of the localities of Tel AvivYaffo, Nesher, Ashdod, Hadera, Beer-Sheva, Rishon Le-Zion, will organize in these localities a series of cultural events, devoted to the 42nd edition of the spring holiday - „Martisor-2008”, DECA-press Agency informs.
On March 3rd 2008, the town of Haifa will be the host of a cultural action devoted to the Festival “Martisor”. In the towns of Israel, shows, songs, dances will be organized. At the same time, informative ad entertainment materials about the Republic of Moldova will be presented.
In the context of celebration of „Martisor-2008”, a cultural delegation headed by Lea Shemtov, president of the parliamentary friendship group “Israel-Moldova” will visit Moldova. The delegation will represent Israel in Chisinau, at the Festival “Martisor”. The Israel delegation will be formed of the young singer Vladi Blaiberg, laureate of the International Contest „Eilat 2007”, the band „Glasul marii”, young representatives of Israel at European and cross-ocean competitions, and the singer Anna Reznikova, laureate of several international contests. // DECA-Press
