Moldovan journalists say intimidated over investigative reports
Journalists of the [grant-funded and investigative] newspaper Ziarul de Garda and their families have been intimidated with threats following of the publication of investigative reports regarding acts of corruption at the Chisinau-based railway terminal, the paper's editor, Aneta Grosu, has said.
She expressed concern about the threats and called on law enforcement agencies "to ensure the security of reporters and probe the acts of corruption".Grosu said that the paper's editorial staff has proofs that can help establish the identity of those who threatened the journalists.
