Moldova will provide US$100,000 in aid to China quake-hit victims
The Government of Moldova decided to provide financial assistance worth US$100,000 to China to support the people affected by the powerful quake that shook Sichuan province on May 12.
Under the decision published in the Official Gazette, the Ministry of Finance will allocate US$100,000 to the Embassy of China from the Government’s reserve fund.
The official death toll from the massive earthquake in south-west China is now 55,239. More than 5.47 million people remained homeless and 5.46 million buildings had collapsed // Reporter.MD
