Moldova sets up special commission to prevent spread of swine flu
A special government commission will monitor the epidemiological situation in Moldova following the swine flu cases registered in many countries.
No swine flu cases have been registered in Moldova so far, Oleg Benes, the director-general of the national scientific centre for preventative medicine announced today at a meeting of the extraordinary republican anti-epidemiological commission.
He said that the Health Ministry has reserves of anti-virus medicines and is ready to grant medical help to possible victims of swine flu.
