Moldova ranked the second in the CIS in terms of internet access
In February 2009, Moldova registered an increase by 918.5% of the webpage visualization by using Opera Mini browser compared with the same period of the previous year, and ranked the second in the CIS, following only after Uzbekistan with an advance of 2600%, according to a report published by Opera Software company.
According to the cited source, in February 2009 the most popular portal on the internet in Moldova, navigated through Opera Mini was odnoklassniki.ru, followed by mail.ru, google.com and faces.md.
The report also shows that at the end of February 2009, the number of Opera Mini users in the world exceeded 20.5 mln and increased by 160% against February 2008. During this month 7.3 bn web pages were accessed or by 270% more compared with the similar month of the previous year.
