Moldova hosted international Dumball Rally
Dumball Rally crossed Moldova during the past days as an initiative to raise money for a cause – supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) Center. Over 50 cars entered Chisinau on May 31. They started the rally in Brighton, UK, and are going to end up with 13 countries travelled.
Cormac Whelan, one of the participants of the rally succeeded to visit some sights in Chisinau and was impressed.
“You are welcoming, friendly and modest peoples,” Whelan said.
Referring to the cause he is working for, Cormac Whelan said that he wants to help these teenagers spiritually, morally and financially.
“We are trying to prove that everything depends on us, on our actions,” he added.
After their stop in Chisinau, the participants headed on the way to Odessa, Ukraine where they will meet their dead end.
“The Dumball was founded by a group of individuals who were fed up with reading about the japes of the rich and famous taking part in the Gumball Rally and wanted a piece of the action - on a fraction of the budget,” the official website of the rally shows.
