Matt LeBlanc divorces ex- model wife Melissa McKnight
After three years of marriage, ex- Friends actor Matt LeBlanc has filed for divorce from his wife.
LeBlanc wed British ex- model Melissa McKnight in Hawaii in 2003.
As BBC News remarks, the American actor's publicist said the split would be "amicable" for the sake of their two-year-old daughter Marina.
The 38-year-old LeBlanc has been starring in Friends spin-off Joey - but the show has been struggling in the ratings and has been pulled from NBC's schedules.
"Melissa and Matt LeBlanc have decided to end their marriage of three years. The dissolution is amicable. They remain devoted parents and friends. For the sake of their family, they ask that their privacy be respected at this time", said LeBlanc’s spokesman, Joe Libonati, cited by BBC News.
Divorce papers filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court said list LeBlanc separated from his wife on 1 January 2006.
