PHOENIX, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Mass transit riders in 24 cities, including Phoenix and Atlanta, say they rode pantless as part of a performance act started eight years ago in New York. The No-Pants participants rode only in their shirts and underwear Saturday, acting as if nothing was awry, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, noting the international stunt is sponsored by the arts group At least 34 people participated in Atlanta, including Patrick Carlson, a design-firm owner who wore shiny blue boxers that matched his suit and tie. In Phoenix, more than 90 pantless people participated, ranging from gray-haired men in suit coats to young women with neon-colored hair, The Arizona Republic reported. LONDON, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A Ukrainian woman whose family cannot attend her wedding in London has posted an ad for people to sit on her side of the church. The Telegraph on Sunday reported the unnamed woman posted her ad on the classifieds Web site Gumtree.com for 30 people to sit with her. The woman said in the ad that in addition to volunteer bridesmaids, groomsmen and ushers, she needs Gumtree trends analyst Trisha Routledge commended the woman's resourcefulness. NORMAL, Ill., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- An Illinois couple who said they enjoyed hanging out at Taco Bell decided to marry there. Friday night, Brooks wed Caragh Brooks, 21, an Australian artist and writer he met through an Internet dating service more than a year ago, The Pantagraph in Bloomington, Ill., reported. Although the couple shared the same last name before marriage, they are not related. The bride dressed in a $15 hot pink dress while the groom wore a lavender shirt and purple and magenta tie in honor of Taco Bell's colors. The entire wedding cost no more than $200, The Pantagraph reported. ST. LOUIS, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Police say burglars in two Illinois counties have added deer and elk antlers to the more common heist targets like computers, jewelry, televisions and stereos. In all, 89 racks of antlers have been stolen in residential break-ins since mid-November in Jersey and Macoupin counties just north of St. Louis. Rare antlers sell for as much as $1,000 on eBay, while most racks appear to sell for between $15 and $20, Kostich told The St. Louis (Mo.) Post-Dispatch in a story published. The stolen antlers could find their way into use as furniture, lamp parts and knife handles, Kostich said.Improv Everywhere.
