Do you want an idea? Budapest – it is an extremely beautiful and not too far away from us European capital.
Budapest city does not miss anything of that something which makes any other large European city worth to be visited. More than this, Budapest is able to check the whole spectrum of tourist capital and to comply with any standard requirement. Extending on both sides of the Danube (consisting of its former cities Buda and Pest), Budapest, more than anything, offers a spectacular view of the architectural greatness.
A place that abounds of history, culture, elegance, sophistication – this is Budapest in just a few words.
If you want to have a "fertile" stay in Budapest, you should mobilize the entire organizational skill to select all of the significant city objectives, because they are very numerous, and their omitting is a great loss. The most important historical landmarks are the bastion of Fishermen, Citadel of the Budapest, Synagogue from Dohany Street, Saint Stephen's Basilica, the impressive Castle Buda, the Hungarian Parliament building or Hill Gellert. Other landmarks refer to Buda Castle Labyrinth and State Opera Theatre.
Also Budapest hosts more than 70 museums and galleries, some most interesting being the Bible Museum, Museum of Crime, Liszt Memorial Museum, the Holocaust Memorial Center, on the one hand, and the Budapest Art Gallery and Museum of Beautiful Arts, on the other hand. Planetarium, Amusement Park Vidam and Zoo deserves as much to be visited.
Like any European capital, Budapest is gearing up for holidays, which are approaching with hurry steps, dressing in the handful of different colours and sizes.
