An old widow from Balti affirms that for eight years, she keeps in touch with the first lady of the Republic of Moldova – Taisia Voronin, DECA-press informs.

The 72-year-old woman asserts that, each year, on March 8th, she receives a greeting card signed „Taisia Voronina”. It is worth mentioning that the woman from Balti also replies Taisia Voronin, by sending her greeting cards on different occasions.

„I gave birth to 12 children and I am one of the few women from Moldova who was awarded the title of mother-heroine during the URSS period. I think this s the reason why Voronin’s wife sends me greeting cards”, Galina Butugan says. Se adds that she is proud of having the honour to keep in touch with persons close to state authorities.
The woman says that, despite the fact she didn’t write the first lady of the republic about her problems so far, now she wants to write her a letter and ask for help in order to cure herself of a disease she has been suffering of for many years.

Galina Butugan says that she has never seen the wife of the Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin alive or on TV.

In order to prove that hr words are true, the mother-heroine presented DECA-press Agency’s reporter both the greeting cars received from the president’s wife and the bills from the post office which prove the fact that the woman had sent her letters of reply. // DECA-Press
