Five sentenced for managing a pedophile network in Moldova
Five men were sentenced and will stay years in prison after they have been caught creating and managing a pedophiles’ network in Moldova. Among the arrested are two foreign nationals (a Norwegian and an Italian) and three Moldovans, Adevarul newspaper informs.
The network provided sexual services to the world with Moldovan underage children for a couple hundred of Euro.
Italian national Andrea Pasquini, 48, allegedly a football coach, was alluring the young sportsmen and then he used them for his personal pleasures. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison. According to the source, the man was also regularly attending internet-cafés and was promising the children to pay their bill for internet services. Afterwards he would invite them over at his house to use his internet. The police arrested him while he was about to have sex with a 13-year-old boy.
Another foreign national arrested is Oleg Sivitski, 44, who bears dual citizenship – Russian and Norwegian. The man created a webpage in English for gay men promoting sexual tourism in Moldova. He would set profiles and upload pictures of the boys. The Russian citizen was also sentenced to 21 years in prison. He accused the Moldovan judicial system to have made up his dossier and he rejects all the accusations.
Three Moldovans have been detained, as well. Nicolae Canatui (21), Stanislav Shevchenko (40) and Mihai Bideac (19) were among the sentenced men.
