First National Army conscripts swear an oath
The first 275 soldiers that were conscripted into the National Army this spring swore an oath of enlistment on May 31.
According to lieutenant-colonel Eduard Ohladciuc, the head of the General Staff’s Personnel Department, the festivities held at the garrisons in Balti, Cahul and Ungheni were attended by officials of the Ministry of Defense, representatives of the local public administration, army veterans, parents and future conscripts.
Another 1,220 soldiers drafted into the National Army, the Border Guard Service and Carabineer Troops Department will swear an oath of enlistment at the memorial complex "Eternitate" on June 14 // Reporter.MD
