Extremely cold weather in Moldova
Extreme weather has hit Moldova. During last night, the weathermen recorded -31 Celsius degrees. The worst weather was in the Northern part of Moldova, especially in the city of Balti, where a man was hospitalized with hypothermia. A child from Soroca fell into the freezing water of Nistru River. He was brought to the hospital in Soroca, according to Publika TV.
The weather is going to get milder no sooner than Saturday, when the thermometers will show -8 to -11 Celsius degrees. A lot of stores and supermarkets couldn’t be supplied with the necessary products due to the impossibility of cars to start and run throughout the country.
