Dramatic pictures of a tornado as it destroys homes and brings down power lines in Oklahoma were aired thanks to tornado watcher Andy and Mike Ratliff who filmed the whole event. The video was broadcasted in the United States at the Weather Channel, CNN, Good Morning America on ABC, The Early Show on CBS, Fox and Friends at Fox News and others.

The tornado in Oklahoma has damaged or destroyed homes, downed power lines, forming debris clouds, as it is seen in the video below.

No injuries were reported, but five homes were destroyed Monday, March 8, when the twister passed through Roger Mills County. The twister first was sighted on the ground about three miles north of Elk City then moved about 12 miles north to Hammon.

The National Weather Service said Oklahoma averages 4.2 tornadoes in March. One tornado was confirmed in March last year. The most tornadoes confirmed for March were 17 in 1991, reports UPI.
