Dorin Chirtoaca: „The citizens of Chisinau support municipal authorities more intensively”
The support of municipal authorities by Chisinau citizens has increased in the last period of time, the mayor of the capital, Dorin Chirtoaca affirms. He made this statement on Sunday evening, within the TV program „VIP-Magazin”, broadcast by„PRO-TV-Chisinau”.
Chirtoaca affirms that “people see what we face today, they understand how much we are pressed”, that is why their support increased.
The mayor considers that the frequent conflicts from the Municipal Council of Chisinau (MCC) are “a typical situation in conditions of democracy, with a slight Moldovan character”. The mayor also mentioned that this situation would have concerned him at all if communists had not come to power.
He called the democrats to join their efforts in order to bring Moldova to normality. // DECA-Press
