CPP employees and beneficiaries clean “historic” portion of the Raut
The portion of the Raut River between Trebujeni and Butuceni villages in Orhei district was cleaned through the joint effort of the community leaders and employees of the USAID-financed Program for Participative Development of Communities from Moldova (CPP).
According to CPP, the cleaning activities were carried out by the members of the community initiative group that are implementing a CPP project in Trebujeni village and change the windows and doors of the local school.
Over 20 people and economic entities as well as the Mayor of Trebujeni Ion Cretu took part in the activities.
The five-year Program for Participative Development of Communities from Moldova aims to increase civic awareness and promote citizens’ involvement. So far, the program supported over 280 community groups and NGOs. CPP is financed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and administered by the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX)// Reporter.MD
