Contraband with cigarettes… in reservoirs of liquefied gas
The police discovered a new illegal schema of transport of cigarettes abroad – they are hidden in reservoirs of liquefied gas of cars, DECA-press Agency communicates.
The original schema was discovered by the Centre for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption.
The police stopped the cars Mercedes E220, Mercedes 230E, Mercedes 126 and BMW-520, conducted by three citizens of the Republic of Moldova and a citizen of Romania. In the reservoirs of liquefied gas of cars they discovered 2400 packages of cigarettes „Doina”, 720 - „Monte Carlo”, 490 - „Plai” and 150 - „Plugarul”.
Officers concluded that, from the beginning of the year, each driver passed the borders nearly 60 times in the region of the customs office Costesti-Stanca without declaring their goods. Now, they risk paying high fines and be confiscated the cars.// DECA-Press
