Children’s hospital “Valentin Ignatenco” will sue Termocom
The administration of the municipal children’s hospital “Valentin Ignatenco" will sue Termocom SA in connection with the losses that the hospital sustained while it was not supplied with heat. Such an announcement was made by the head of the Municipal Health Division Mihai Moldovanu at Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau City Hall.
According to Moldovanu, 125 patients could not be hospitalized owing to the low temperatures in the hospital rooms. The patients preferred to receive treatment at home under the supervision of the family doctor.
Moldovanu also said that the number of cases of respiratory infections increased after the hot water supply was halted. All the Chisinau hospitals have been connected to the centralized heating system and the temperatures in hospital rooms now vary between 19 and 20 degrees. REPORTER.MD
