Breaking the silence on Stalin's crimes

Few people in the former Soviet countries today speak about Josef Stalin’s Great Purge.

But after years of silence, 82-year-old Bubura Kydyralieva decided to reveal her family’s story about the executions of scores of Kyrgyz victims in 1938.
