Bank robbery in Moldova caught on surveillance video
Two men broke out a bank in Moldova’s capital of Chisinau early today. The police say the men used a screwdriver as tools for the breakage. In less than two minutes the men stole about 1 million lei ($81,300), as some media outlets report. They were carrying medical masks to cover their face. Nobody got injured after the incident.
The police officers made public some video images recorded by the cameras installed in the bank. The bank administration told the press that the institution is currently working on a regular regime. They did not want to reveal more information before the results of the investigation will be available.
If caught, the men risk staying six years in prison.
