Bad roads in Ungheni as a result of lack of funds
1 kilometre 862 metres is the length of the repaired roads in the district Ungheni this year, DECA-press agency transmits.
According to an informative note coming from the part of „Ungheni Roads”, this was the only distance they could repair. There was no money allocated this year from the budget for this need.
The company „Ungheni Roads” made an appeal to the president of the Parliament, to the prime – minister as well as to the Minister of Transport. They asked to allocate a sum of money for the year 2007 for the repair of the roads in Ungheni. However they did not get an answer from the authorities. Only the minister of Resort gave a very laconic answer stating that it was impossible to allocate the money they asked as there were no funds
The total cost of the repairs will get beyond 26 million lei. // DECA-Press
