Americans Will Consume Horsemeat
By Diana Ungureanu/ Chisinau/ Moldova.ORG/ -- In 2006, the Organization against Slaughtering of Horses passed successfully through Congress Order of reducing of budget allocated to the horsemeat inspectors, in such a way determining the slaughterhouses to withdraw to renounce from this type of meat.
But recently, the Congress lifted this interdiction in a new draft law and the Department of Agriculture has issued a press release where declared that at that moment there are no slaughterhouses in US to handle horsemeat for human consumption, but if it is necessarily, there will be carried out the inspections.
