About 160 people evacuated from dwelling building in Chisinau, near building site, where one wall broke down

About 160 people, including eight children, were evacuated from a five-storey dwelling building in Chisinau, situated near a building site, where one wall broke down following the ground gliding.
The incident took place on January 23, around 23.00, on a site in Telecentru sector, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In line with a ground gliding, a wall of a building, 17-meter high and 20-meter long, broke down.
In order to avoid the danger of another gliding that could affect the nearby dwelling house, the policemen and rescuers had to evacuate, during night, about 160 people. No one had to suffer in the incident.
The citizens were housed in kindergarten no. 159 from Chisinau and in the lyceum Academician Sibirschi. The evacuated dwelling is being supervised by specialists. The firemen and rescuers are activating on the place of the incident, as well as the representatives of Chişinău–Gaz and the police.  // BASA-Press
