A blog festival launched for first time in history of Moldovan internet
"Blogovat 2008" blog festival is organized for the first time in the history of Moldovan internet. The agenda of the festival includes a participant registration stage that will last until 11 February 2008.
Blogovat is initiated by a group of Moldovan bloggers aiming to promote and consolidate blogging in the moldnet space, to build the blogger community in Moldova and establish an alternative communication, discussion and cooperation space.
Blogovat-2008 is a project that is not financially supported relying only on the enthusiasm, knowledge and time dedicated by the organizers.
The blogs created and supported by Moldovan citizens or foreigners living in Moldova and writing about Moldova are eligible to participate in the festival. For registration applicants must fill in an application form on the site of the festival www.blogovat.blogosfera.md
Three groups of users will judge at the Blogovat-2008 Festival: readers, bloggers and a jury. The readers will vote for their favourite blogs through a banner displayed on the participant’s blog. The applicant bloggers will vote through ElectionPlatform.com system.
The jury will assess the blogs based on a list of criteria attributing for each of the criteria a corresponding score. The participants may register their blogs for one of the following categories: “Media Blog”, “Photo/video Blog”, “Civil Society Blog”, “Personal Blog” or “Specialized Blog”. The jury will designate the winners under the following categories “Best Blog Article” and “Launch of the Year”. // BASA-Press
